Location: An abandoned scientific observatory that once conducted experiments in the field of interdimensional physics. The room has two “layers” of perception: physical (a real hall with abandoned instruments) and projection (a VR state of the past – holographic panels, energy circuit outlines, information records). Players arrive as researchers from the Institute of Temporal Anomalies. They are informed that events related to the uncontrolled opening of an interdimensional portal have occurred in the room. The observatory’s protection system is partially damaged, and the central artificial intelligence ORION has entered emergency isolation mode.
